Family Law

Here for you.

At Empire Law, we understand that your family, along with your assets, are two of the most important aspects of your life. We also understand that for many families, breakups happen. Apart from the emotional turmoil involved in a divorce, legal separation, or a paternity/child custody matter, there are several legal issues that must be resolved before you can move on with your life.

When handling your family law matter we will assess the intricate details of your unique set of family circumstances, and employ the best legal course of action tailored to you and your family’s needs. If you are going through the stress of a divorce, you need a skilled, knowledgeable family law attorney on your side. Through working with our firm, you can responsibly organize your family and protect your assets and children before, during, and after the process of separation.

Empire Law is committed to crafting legal solutions tailored to achieving your individual goals and protecting your family’s unique interests.

Mediation and Settlement

Mediation is one of the most frequently used methods for negotiating a divorce and/or child custody settlement. In mediation, a neutral third party called a “mediator,” will meet with you and your spouse to discuss and resolve the issues involved in your divorce or child custody matter. Unlike a judge, the mediator does not make any decisions for the parties; rather, the mediator serves as a facilitator to help the parties reach an agreement. If you and your spouse are considering mediation, an Empire Law attorney can either serve as the mediator or attend the mediation as your attorney only.
